01 // XEPA FOR IPHONE
Is the iPhone app available?
Coming soon. XEPA for iPhone is currently in private beta.
Which iPhones does XEPA work on?
iOS 26 or later, on iPhone 15 Pro or newer.
Does XEPA upload my videos?
No. Every shot is traced on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded, and the app has no account.
Does it work without cell signal?
Yes. Tracing works fully offline, so it works right on the golf course.
Can it trace live, while the ball is in the air?
Not in version 1.0. XEPA traces shots after you film or import them. A live tracer is in development.
Which shots work best?
Film from behind the golfer (down-the-line), steady or on a tripod, in landscape if you can. Review the line before exporting. If a shot needs a correction, use Mark the ball.
02 // FIXING A TRACE
The line is wrong on my iPhone. What do I do?
Open the shot and choose Mark the ball. Tap the ball at rest and where it landed (in the air is optional), then tap Rebuild the line. You can also drag to bend the apex, and Undo my fixes takes you back to XEPA’s own line. To help us improve, use Report a bad trace: it shares the .gtrace shot file (not your video) wherever you choose.
How do I adjust a trace inside Adobe Premiere Pro?
In the XEPA Shot Tracer panel, switch to the Review tab to nudge the tee, apex, or landing point on the frame, or switch to Styles and Editor + Sound to change the preset, colour, glow, width, tail length, and impact/whoosh audio.

Which Premiere Pro version do I need?
Adobe Premiere Pro 26.2 or later on Mac (Apple Silicon M1 / M2 / M3 / M4, macOS 14 Sonoma+) or Windows (Windows 10 / 11 64-bit with an NVIDIA RTX GPU).
Does XEPA support both Mac and Windows?
Yes. Version 0.9 ships for both Mac (Apple Silicon) and Windows (Windows 10/11 64-bit), and your licence can be activated on up to 2 computers across either platform.
Where does the Premiere Pro plugin process my footage?
100% locally on your Mac or Windows PC using local GPU acceleration. Your source clips and timelines are never uploaded to any cloud server.
Is there a free trial?
Yes: a 1-week free trial with full-quality exports and no watermarks.
04 // BUYING, BILLING & LICENCES
What is the $60 Founder one-time license?
The Plugin (one-time license) is $60 for the first 100 buyers (regular price $80). It includes every v1.x update of the XEPA Premiere Pro plugin (Mac & Windows) plus the Live Tracer when it ships, and works on up to 2 computers.
What are the monthly plans on the website?
Plugin Monthly is $15/mo for the Premiere Pro plugin, and Complete ($19.99/mo, in development) will add the XEPA Live Tracer when it ships. There are no yearly plans, and you can cancel monthly plans anytime. iPhone subscriptions are separate through Apple, in-app only, and are not sold on the website.
How many computers does my license work on?
Your license works on up to 2 computers across Mac and Windows.
Who processes website payments?
Checkout is through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes the payment, handles sales tax / VAT, and sends your receipt. We never see your full card number.
05 // CANCELLING & REFUNDS
How do I cancel my Premiere Pro plugin subscription?
Use the cancellation link in your Paddle receipt email, or write to our support email. For anything managed through the Apple App Store on iPhone, open iPhone Settings › tap your name › Subscriptions.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Website purchases can be refunded within 14 days. See the Refund Policy page, linked at the bottom of every page, for how to ask.
